The business is in the family from several generations. Anna still remembers to learn fishing with her grandfather, that already had learned with his grandfather. In the family, some catch the fish, some sell it and some take care of the equipment. Everybody knows how to do a bit of everything. This way anyone is capable to replace any other member of the family in case of need.

Anna had a natural talent to patch up the nets and keep boat engines running, but her thing is to sell the fish. Since day one that she was there, she treated every costumer gentle and with honesty, that they kept coming back. Some of them are almost friends now.

Anna's son is already going fishing with his grandfather. But only on weekends. At the week days, the family wants him in the school benches. The kid is gifted for the letters and numbers and the family are convinced that he will be the first to reach university. Who knows? Maybe he'll help the family business with the stuff he'll learn in there.

O tesouro! | The treasure!

20201122_125651

For now, it stays here. Everybody knows about the robbery of the merchant ship that brought the product of goods sails, to the empire and all available soldiers are looking for the robbers. And for the treasure!

So, for now, the treasure remains hidden. The man made a pact to return to this place, 3 mounths from now. The treasure will be divided for those who will shown that day. Until day eacho one will try to keep away from whistleblowers eyes. Maybe they find a job at the harbour as dockers or became smelly homeless to keep away all kind of attentions. High morale they have and big expectations too. Now, they only have to disapear from the face of the earth for 90 days.

Conversa de homens | Grown man talks

20201025_134336

The boys desire to belong to the grown man group made them follow the adults to the small room, after lunch. The small room was used to take the most serious family talking and it's were young man take their first drink and the first cigar.

But today, the conversation was the most boring possible. Complicated family business that the boys knew nothing about. And all adults found them very young to even taste Oporto Wine. And the girls laughter outside, as well as the sound of water wasn´t helping at all.

Wich kid is capable to resist a water play? The boys certainly not. And after all, the cigar's smoke was leaving them sick to the stomach and they knew that they had any change to participate in the discussion or to taste their first drink. As soon as they could they escaped outside to play with the girls at garden's pound.

Pequenas pestes | Little criatures

20201025_135745

Overall, the class is well behaved. The teacher as nothing to complain about. She gulpes when the kids show her a frog or a centipede as an amazing gift, she does not care about when dirty hands grab her dress to show her some ancient found treasure and disguises disgust when a smeared kiss leaves her cheek stiky for a while.

By the end of the school year she will know each one of these little criatures: she will know their favourite colour, wich food they hate, the most naughtiness they made, but also the best in their hearts.

She would not trade this job for any other in the world.

Caixa azul #16: 9424 Barco gaivota | Blue box#16: 9424 Paddel boat

20201005_093808[1]

Price/Content: About 20€ (it was another gift for heiress). Besides the boat, wich is very nice, the acessessories are poor...

Novelty: I really love the boat and the racial diversity of this group :)

Content adequacy: I don't quite understant the need of the flip flops... i'd rather a camera or a fun floater for the kids, or even nothing. The flip flops are tinny and end up being unfunctional: mine are difficult to put in the figures feet and cause serious balance problems on them...

Expectation/Reality: Despite the flip flop issue, it is a great compliment to the beach sets. Heiress love them and we have a few.

A noite maldita | Cursed night

20201030_195927

This is the night of the cursed, damned and blasted criatures.Tonight every house is closed since the sun down, with all their inhabitants whispiring old litanies and prayers and with all kind of amulets and charms rescued from the end of the chests, to chase away the criatures.

Indefferent to these kinf of manouvers, knowing that most of them are simply armless to them, the cursed criatures jump out to the street friely, scaring unwarys, terrorizing the ones who got late in returning home and carefully selecting some victims, with refinement.

Tonight the toasts are made with abundant fresh blood.

Retrato de família | Family portrait

20201017_133213

Carlota, sobredotada e maria-rapaz, e a quem é necessário obrigar a usar vestidos.

Upper row, from left to right: Count Oxford, hypochondriac since young age, with a suspicious that he might be gay; Contess Barbara, an orphan, raised by the servents of the family, that captured the count's heart, when the worst suspicious about his sexuality rose upon him. The family made her a distant relative, taught her good maners, and today it's impossible to say that she wasn't born in the best crib; Count Oxford Junior, gifted with a very nice touch for business. He's the one who as maintained and increased the family fortune; Countess Grace, the ever since promised wife to Count Oxford Junior. She didn't had the streght to fight her destiny, and today she is gratefull for that.

Bottom row, also from left to right: Constance and Frederic, twins from Count Oxford and Contess Barbara; Martin, the boy that nobody knows from who he looks like, as his air is quite diferent from he's parents, Count Oxford Junior and Countess Grace. Charlotte, the overgifted girl and a non traditional girl, as she has to be forced to use dress.

Nos jardins do palácio | At the palace gardens

20201025_133650

There is no better place to play than the endless palace gardens, with it's conuntless hideouts, a thousand treasures e adeventures without end. And when cousins are here to play along, it's impossible to get any better.

To the familiar voices of the peacocks, to the quacks of the swans, to the chirp of the birds and to the dog's barking, join now the voices and laughter of a children gang, that in a moment is clibing trees, and the next second is feeding the swans, playing hide and sick or in an adventuress quest to find a long time forgotten treasure.
