A discussão com Bart Ventania já aconteceu há muitos meses. Daí para cá, Anne que não se deixou abalar pela nega do pirata: conseguiu reunir os aspirantes a piratas mais maltrapilhos do cais, e que também eles eram sistematicamente recusados para ingressar nos navios mais conhecidos, pelos capitães de nomes mais famosos.
Juntos, recuperaram uma pequena chapula, abandonada após anos de faina e fizeram dela a sua fortaleza. Batizaram-na de “Coragem”, pois todos sabiam que uma tripulação de maltrapilhos liderada por uma mulher, num velho barco, só com muita coragem seria um projecto de sucesso.
Sabendo que seria impossível para eles competirem em alto mar com navios maiores e mais bem armados, com tripulações mais experientes e capitães destemidos, decidiram atacar pequenos navios mercantes, em vez dos grandes navios pertencentes às grandes frotas de comércio.
E a pouco e pouco, a sorte foi-lhes sorrindo. Um sucesso aqui e outro ali e já tinham ganho mais do que alguma vez tinha acontecido. A tripulação de maltrapilhos ganhava experiência e confiança em si própria e o sucesso aumentava sob a liderança da destemida Anne.
O nome “Anne Coragem” começou a ser falado pelas tabernas do cais, primeiro em tom jocoso, depois como uma surpresa que ninguém esperava. Os pais de Anne, que permaneciam no cais, primeiro andavam cabisbaixos, procurando não ser notados, sem saber muito bem que aquela história iria acabar bem para a sua filha, mas agora, erguiam bem alto as suas cabeças enquanto almoçavam na taberna ou trabalhavam no cais, orgulhosos dos feitos da filha.
Diz-se que numa noite de bebeira, Bart Ventania confessara estar arrependido de não ter aceite aquele mulherão no seu navio e que seria até capaz de casar com ela. Mas depois a bebedeira passou e nunca mais ninguém o ouviu falar de Anne Coragem.
The fight with Windy Bart had happened many months ago. From then on , Anne did not let herself go down and be upset by the pirate denial. By the contrary: she manage to gather the most ragged men from the pier who have also been denied for the most well knowend ships from the most famous captains.
Together tey recoverd an old abandone shallopa after years of fishing and made it their forteress. They give it the name “Courage” as every one knew that a crew like this, led by a woman on an old ship would need a lot of courage to make this a success project.
Knowing it would be impossible for them to compete in high sea with bigger ships more armed with more experienced crews and fearless captains, they decided to attack small merchant ships instead those big ships from the commercial fleets.
And little by little the luck was getting them. A success here and a success there and in no time they already had worn more then ever did. The ragged crew was getting experience and confdence in themselves and the success was getting bigger under fearce Anne lidership.
The name “Courage Anne” has began to be speaked about in the pier taverns, first in a moking way but then as a surprise that no one expected. At firts Anne’s parents wondered the pier with their heads down, without knowing if this history would end up well for their daughter, but now, they held their head up high while eat in the taverns or work in the pier.
It’s said that in a drunkness night Windy Bart had confessd to be sorry for not letting that amazing woman to be part of his crew and that he would’ve married her. But when alchool effect passed, no one ever heard him talk about her anymore.
O desfiladeiro é a zona mais perigosa do percurso para a grande cidade. São três quilómetros de estrada ladeada por rochedos, alguns troços sinuosos, local ideal para emboscadas e assaltos. Quem por ali passa procura não seguir sozinho, para maior proteção. A diligência passa por ali com frequência. Os moços sabem bem quais os locais mais propícios para os ataques e os cavalos mostram nervosismo mal entram no desfiladeiro.
O Rogério costuma poupar os cavalos antes da chegada ao desfiladeiro. Um pouco antes de chegarem, oferece-lhes uma guloseima e umas palmadinhas de incentivo. A ideia é passar o desfiladeiro o mais rápido possível, para minimizar o risco de ficarem emboscados. E para isso é preciso cavalos frescos e motivados, é por isso que há sempre cenouras frescas na diligência.
E a verdade é que o Rogério é o moço com menor registo de encontros não desejados no desfiladeiro!
The canyon is the most dangerous area on the route to the big city. There are three kilometers of road lined with rocks, some of which are winding, an ideal place for ambushes and robberies. Anyone passing by tries not to go alone, for greater protection. Stagecoach passes by there frequently. The boys know too well which places are most suitable for attacks and the horses show nervousness as soon as they enter the gorge.
Roger usually spares the horses before arriving at the canyon. Just before they arrive, he offers them a snack and an encouraging pat. The idea is to pass through the canyon as quickly as possible, to minimize the risk of being ambushed. And for that you need fresh and motivated horses, that's why there are always fresh carrots in the stagecoach.
And the truth is that Roger is the boy with the lowest record of unwanted encounters in the canyon!
Originalidade: este não é primeiro drácula da playmobil, mas uma vez que se comemora cada vez mais o halloween, parece-me uma boa aposta, desde que tenham algum apontamento diferenciador.
Conteúdo: muito bom, com detalhes muito engraçados, como o morcego pendurado e garrafa presa no cinto. Também gostei do vampiro pousado na madeira, junto à caveira. Um set muito rico!
Expectativa/Realidade: confesso que quando comprei este set, estava meio com pressa, e nem reparei bem nos acessórios. Interessou-me o drácula para diversificar as personagens das minhas histórias de halloween. Ao montar é que me apercebi dos detalhes que trazia e que foram uma agradável surpresa!

Novelty: this is not the first dracula from playmobil, but since halloween is being more and more celebrated, i guess it's a good idea to have more figures like this. As long it as some kind of new detail.
Content: wonderful, with several funny details, such as the hanging bat or the bottle in the belt. I also enjoyed the bat laying on the branch, near the skull. A very rich set!
Expectation/Reality: i must confess i was in a hrry when i bought this set, so at the time i didn´t quite notived all the details. I only wanted the dracula to enrich my halloween stories. As i was assembling it i got the most joyfull surprise, descovering this funny acessories!
Todos os piratas sabem que ter mulheres no mar dá má sorte. Ninguém as quer por perto, excepto quando estão com os pés bem assentes na terra e de preferência com uma caneca de cerveja na mão.
É por isso que Bart Ventania, um pirata bem sucedido, quase invencível e conhecido pelo seu cavalheirismo, se recusa terminantemente a deixar embarcar Anne no seu navio.
Anne é destemida, determinada e muito forte. Cresceu no cais a ouvir as histórias mais incríveis dos piratas. Conhece cada navio melhor que muitos aspirantes a piratas, pois cresceu a ajudar a mãe a limpá-los e a reparar as suas velas, mas também ajudava o pai, um habilidoso carpinteiro, a quem todos recorrem quando têm uma reparação séria para fazer nos seus navios. Anne sabe até onde se podem ser esticadas as velas, mas também sabe quais os pontos fracos da estrutura de cada navio. Foi o pai que lhe ensinou.
Não tem experiência de mar, mas desde miúda que se bate de igual para igual com os rapazes, que tal como ela, cresceram no cais a sonhar em ser piratas e é capaz de ganhar ao braço de ferro a muitos aspirantes a piratas que ali chegam com a cabeça cheia de sonhos.
A discussão entre Anne e Bart Ventania ouve-se em todo o navio. A tripulação divide-se entre aqueles que reconhecem a valentia de Anne e que acham que ela merecia uma oportunidade e aqueles que acham que ter uma mulher a bordo só iria causar problemas e maus pressságios.
Mas Anne não levou a sua avante e saiu do navio a gritar impropérios, contra tudo e todos!
Every pirate know that women on board is bad luck. No one wants them around, unless when they are with their feets firmly on the ground and holdind a beer in their hand. That’s why Windy Bart a well succeeded, almost unvinceable and known for his chivalry, refuses to let Anne get on bord his ship.
Anne is fierce, determined and very strong. She grew up in the pier listening the most incredible pirate stories. She knows better each ship from the harbour than most of those young wanna be pirates, as she grew up helping her mother cleaning and repairing it’s sails. She also helped her father, a skilled carpenter that everyone look for when it was time to make a serious repair. Anne knows how far the sails can be stretched and she also knows the weak points of the ships structure. She learned that from her father.
She doesn´t have sea experience, but since she was a little girl, she figths the boys who grew up in the pier, dreaming to became a pirate themselves, in equal terms ans she still wins arm wrestle with some of those young boys aspiring to be a pirate that arrive to the harbour, with their heads full of dreams.
The argument between Anne and Windy Bart can be heard in every corner of the ship. The crew is divided between those who think she deserves a chance and those who think she would be a pack of trouble and bad luck for the ship.
Today Anne didn’t won the fight and she left the ship shouting insults against anything and anyone!
A maior surpresa deste Natal tinha que sair à rua rapidamente! Tinha que fazer uma história com o set que mais prazer me deu a montar nos últimos tempos! A sorte que é morar num sítio ao pé da praia para simular o último grande achado arqueológico do mundo moderno pelo Professor Smith.
The biggest surprise of this Christmas had to be out to shoot very quickly! I had to make a story with the set that gave me the most pleasure to assemble lately! Lucky me to live in a place near the beach to simulate the last great archaeologic find of the modern world by Professor Smith.
Preço: foi uma prenda de Natal, não ficará bem dizer o preço...
Originalidade:bem sei que as pirâmides não eram azuis no exterior, mas a verdade é que o azul dá um efeito muito fixe ao conjunto.
Conteúdo:adorei o facto de haver tantos autocolantes para colar! Os acessórios são na medida certa. Nem demais, nem de menos e muito adequados. Gostei muito da figura do salteador e claro, dos alçapões, passagens secretas e da sala secreta do túmulo.
Expectativa/Realidade: este set fez-me voltar à infância, em que cada pormenor de cada set era pensado com detalhe. Deu-me mesmo um grande prazer montar esta pirâmide e descobrir cada passagem secreta e cada pormenor. Além disso os autocolantes são riquíssimos! Que grande set!

Novelty:i know that the pyramids weren´t blue on the outside, bua as a mather of fact, the blue gives an amazing effect to this set.
Content:i simply loved all the stickers! The accessories are in the right amount. No more no less and very adequate. I loved the burgler figure and of course, the trap, the secret passage and the hidden room of the tomb.
Expectation/Reality:this set made me back in time to my childhood when every detail of every set was tought with detail. It gave me a lot of pleasure to assemble this pyramid and discover each detail. Besides that, the stickers were so rich and detailed! What a great set!

A tripulação do “Caveira Brilhante” foi recebida em euforia pelos companheiros que os aguardam no cais do esconderijo secreto. Esta incursão foi um êxito e o porão vem cheio de relíquias desviadas dos navios mercantes que regressavam da América do Sul para a Europa com só porões carregados. Há de tudo, de frutas a tapeçarias, de jóias a açúcar e chocolate. Apesar de adorarem jóias, os piratas começam a perceber o tesouro que é o chocolate e o quanto ele é desejado na Europa.
Se eu vos disser que o capitão do navio teve que castigar um dos homens que foi apanhado a roubar chocolate do porão e outros dois que brigaram porque um deles entendeu que tinha recebido uma porção menor de chocolate que o capitão entendeu distribuir como forma de recompensa aos seus homens, por certo não acreditariam!
Quem diria: piratas a brigaram por chocolate e não por rum!!
The “Shinny Skull” crew was received in euphoria by their companions that are waiting for them at the pier in their secret hideout. This incursion was a full success and the cargo hold is filled with reliques taken from the merchant ships returning from South Anerica to Europe. It’s a bit of everything: fruit, tapestry, jewelry, sugar and chocolate. Despite loving jewels the pirats are begining to understand the teasure that chocolate is and how much it is wanted in Europe.
If i told you that she ship’s captain had to punish a man that was robbing chocolate from the cargo hold and another two that got in a fight cause one of them tought he was getting less chocolate that his mate, from the portion that the captain distributed as a reward to his man, you probably wouldn’t believe!
Who would believe: pirats fighting over chocolate and not for rum!!
Os últimos dias foram emocionantes. Toda a equipa está ainda em êxtase com este grande achado. Hoje seguem para o Grande Museu das Pirâmides, os últimos artefactos que irão agora ser estudados, analisados, desenhados e catalogados. De todo o mundo chegam propostas de arqueólogos que querem fazer parte da equipa de estudo desta grande descoberta.
O Professor Smith, que chegou a pensar que esta seria a sua última visita ao Egipto, caso esta expedição falhasse, tem agora largos meses de estudo de tudo o que foi encontrado, pela frente, sem falar nos já inúmeros convites para fazer palestras, comunicações, e apresentações por esse mundo fora. A reforma que parecia estar ao redor da esquina, agora está a anos luz de distância.
E a cereja no topo do bolo? Eis a capa da revista “HISTORY”, a mais relevante publicação sobre arqueologia do mundo, que ainda há escassos meses recusara um artigo do Professor Smith sobre a pirâmide do rio, saiu hoje, com um extenso artigo sobre o último grande achado arqueológico do mundo moderno.
The last days have been so exciting. The all crew is still in the clouds with this great achievement. Today, the last findings will head out to Great Pyramid Museum, to be studyed, analysed, drawned and cathalogued. From every corner of the world archaeologists are proposing themselves to be part of the study team of this great find.
Professor Smith even thought that maybe this would be his last trip to Egypt, if this expedition failed and now he as many months of studies and not to mention all the envitations already received to do presentations and workshps in every corner of the world. Retirment seemed to be so near, and now it is far far away.
And the cherry on top? Here is the cover of “HISTORY” magazine, the most relevant publishing of archaeology of the world, that no many months ago, refused an article from Professor Smith about the river pyramid, came out today, with a long long article about the last great archaelogic finding of the modern world.
Enquanto estava a desmontar o presépio, deixei para arrumar no fim as figuras de safari, os touaregues e os egipcíos, assim como os camelos e as palmeiras. Por graça, juntei-lhes a pirâmide, e acabei por montar um pequeno diorama, sem esperar.
E foi aí que tive a ideia de construir um diorama mensal, para os playmobil saírem mais das caixas onde estão guardados e também de incentivar a herdeira a ir brincando com temas diferentes. Ela adorou a ideia e disse logo que como faz anos em Fevereiro, era ela que escolhia o próximo tema.
O objectivo não é fazer um diorama complicado, até porque quero que a herdeira brinque com ele, que acrescente coisas, ou tire, como forma de puxar pela imaginação dela e de fazer com que ela continue a brincar ao faz de conta, que é uma das maneiras mais saudáveis de brincar.
Vamos ver que tema ela escolhe. E vamos ver se eu me consigo manter fiel a esta ideia ao longo do ano!
While i was tyding up our nativity, i left to last the safari figures, the touaregues and the egypcians, the camels and the palm trees. Just for fun, i haded the pyramid and i just ended up building a small diorama, without expecting it.
That was when i had the idea of a monthly diorama! It is a way to encourage heiress to play with different themes and also a way of keeping figures out of storage where i have to keep it. heiress loved the ideia and immediately said that as February is her anniversary, she would choose the next theme.
The goal is to make a simple diorama, as i want heiress to play with it, to add or remove accessories, so i can keep her immagination working.
Let's see what theme she chooses. And let's see if i can maintain this ideia trought out the year!
Para comemorar a chegada do Outono e a colheita das primeiras abóboras, a quinta abre as suas portas e permite que a criançada apareça nas suas pequenas carroças, para ajudar na colheita. Há prémios para as carroças mais bem decoradas, para quem apanhar mais abóboras e até para o pónei mais bem arranjado.
O evento é já uma tradição e já são muitos os que vêm assistir, já que é divertimento garantido. No fim, todos os participantes levam para casa uma abóbora oferecida pela quinta, que tem que ser decorada pelos participantes e ficará na quinta em exposição, até ao halloween.
To celebrate Autumn's arrival, and the pumpkin season, the farm opens it's gates and let the kids bring their wagons to help picking the pumpkins. There are awards the most decorated wagon, to those who pick more pumpkins and even to the most well taken cared poney.
The event is already a tradition and many come to see it certain that will have a good time. In the end, the participants can take one pumpkin home wich they have to decorate to be exhibited in the farm until halloween.
