Eis os futuros campeões de vela da região! Para já, são uns miúdos cheios de medo da água escura, de nojo do fundo lodoso da baía e a quererem distância das alforrecas que insistem em visitar a baía. Mas o professor confia que daqui a algum tempo tudo isso passe, que ganhem força e resistência e que passem a ser capazes de entrar para o optimist sozinhos e sem ajuda. Até lá, é preciso ir conquistando medos com muita brincadeira e jogos à mistura para que os pequenos ganhem confiança e se sintam à vontade no meio aquático.
O professor quer acima de tudo e em primeiro lugar, ensiná-los a disfrutar. Deseja sinceramente que eles gostem de velejar, se sentir o vento na cara e do desafio que é, controlar o optimist. Ele próprio precisou de muito tempo para gostar de velejar: quando era pequeno, foi o úiltimo do grupo dele a conseguir entrar sozinho no barco; demorou meses a dominar a viragem de bordo e nem sempre percebia muito bem quando tinha de caçar ou largar a vela.
Mas com tempo e persistência, acabou por se tornar dos melhores velejadores da região. Deixou a vela de competição muito cedo, porque o que ele gostava mesmo era de disfrutar da viagem, e acabar em primeiro só encurtava o tempo que estava na água a velejar. Por isso, passou a praticar vela apenas por prazer e quando o desafiaram a ser professor dos mais pequenitos, não hesitou e concordou de imediato. Com sorte, passará a sua paixão para outros e por certo será capaz de ajudar algum deles a ser campeão.

Preparada com meses de antecedência a expedição está prestes a começar. O entusiasmo e a expectativa que nortearam as últimas semanas são agora substituídas por um nervoso miudinho que ninguém confessa uns aos outros. Ainda para mais, a primeira parte da expedição arranca com uma viagem de balão. Voar de avião já é desafiante. Viajar de balão torna ainda a aventura mais empolgante.
Kazim vai levá-los até ao topo da montanha onde pretendem montar o acampamento e permanecer por 3 meses, em busca de uma pirâmide de uma civilização antiga. A primeira tentativa de chegar ao topo da montanha por terra, foi mal sucedida. A selva densa, sem caminhos definidos e a grande dificuldade de orientação, levou a equipa a procurar outra solução. Apesar de mal sucedida, a primeira tentativa de chegada ao topo da montanha revelou fortes indícios da presença da civilização procurada. Depois de semanas em busca do caminho para o topo, primeiro em viaturas todo.o-terreno, depois com o auxílio de burros e por fim, a pé, foram descobrindo vestígios de construções, abrigos, utensílios e até ossos. Mas o mais inportante, várias pedras com inscrições e simbologia que apontavavam para a existência de um templo em forma de pirâmide, tal como se previa.
Kazim surgiu literalmente do céu aos trambolhões, quando teve que fazer uma aterragem de emergência com o seu balão, no terreiro do mercado da localidade mais próxima, onde a equipa da expedição se agrupara para definir novas estratégias, após aquela primeira tentativa falhada.
Depois de muito negociarem, pois Kazim exigia um preço altíssimo pela viagem, lá fecharam negócio, fazendo um pagamento adiantado e exigindo que Kazim substituísse o pano do balão, que, sujíssimo, apresentava remendos sem fim e dava pouca confiança de êxito ao grupo.
No dia e hora combinados, Kazim apareceu, garbosíssimo do seu balão que fazia uma vistaça com os seus panos novos em folha, atraindo toda a gente para o seu redor.
Hoje é dia de se porem a caminho e esperar que os panos novos sejam resistentes, e que o sorriso confiante de Kazim seja suficiente para os deixar são e salvos no topo da montanha como pretendido. Isso, e as ínúmeras rezas acompanhadas de paus de incenso queimados, que Kazim insiste em fazer, enquanto eles carregam o material para dentro do balão.

É uma figura influente na região, e são muitos os que lhe vêem pedir conselho, mesmo as figuras que representam o rei na região, almoçam, jantam ou simplesmente tomam um chá na sua casa senhorial. Dizem que, é na sua sala de jantar que muitas vezes se tomam as decisões mais importantes da região.
João Nóbrega casou com uma rapariga simples, mas delicada, de poucas posses, mas inteligentíssma, que trabalhava na herdade da família. Carla, foi o centro de inúmeras discussões na família Nóbrega: o pai de João discordava por completo da união. O avô confiava nos instintos do neto e estava disposto a aceitar a rapariga na família. Estava cansado de mulheres fúteis, que, apesar de belas, nada sabiam fazer, além de tagarelar e gastar rios de dinheiro em vestidos e acessórios de beleza.
E como a palavra final era do avô, João Nóbrega casou-se mesmo com Carla, tendo esta sido levada ao altar pelo avô Nóbrega em pessoa, já que se veio a perceber que a pobre rapariga era orfã. A inteligência de Carla conquistara de imediato o avô Nóbrega, que tinha longas conversas com ela. Aconselhou pois, o neto a ouvir a sua opinião em todas as circustâncias.

Este recusa-se a partilhar o seu segredo e confunde frequentemente até os que lhe são mais próximos, ora dizendo que é uma erva especial, ora que apenas é importante as quantidades certas, ou até que o igrediente é tão raro, tão raro, que nunca se sabe onde o encontrar...
E assim vai passando o tempo, sem que ninguém saiba efectivamente o segredo. Hoje Panoramix pediu a presença de Obélix para que este o acompanhasse na recolha de vários ingredientes para as suas poções e Obélix está convencido que hoje saberá o segredo da poção. Prometeu a si mesmo que estaria atento a todos os gestos do druida e que não o deixaria sozinho por um só instante.
Panoramix apanhava apenas bagas conhecidas e algumas ervas sem interesse, nada de extraordinário e Obélix estava a ficar aborrecido. Nesse momento, Ideiafix farejou um javali e Astérix desconcentrou-se por dois minutos, fazendo um esforço enorme para não sair a correr a caçar o javali, chamando Ideiafix de volta.
Foi então que, Panaramix se levantou, pois estivera ajoelhado a apanhar qualquer coisa, e disse que finalmente encontrara o que tanto procurava e que podiam regressar.
Obélix nem queria acreditar, que tendo estado tão perto de saber o segredo da poção, se distraíra por causa de um javali!!

Originalidade: ora aqui está um set fora da caixa, muito bem conseguido! Surpreendeu a forma como as peças do balão encaixaram super bem. Uma ideia muito bem conseguida, na minha opinião! A ideia de trazer a argola para se poder pendurar, também foi excelente!
Conteúdo: A menina é bem gira, embora não perceba muito bem a ideia dos animais... um tigre??? assim de repente não parece fazer muito sentido, mas como o balão é lindo de morrer, tudo se desculpa.
Expectativa/Realidade: O balão e os seus acessórios (escada, âncora, os sacos do peso,...) estão super fixes e deixaram-me super feliz. Já os animais... preferia outras personagens, mas tudo bem... já estou a imaginar uma história com a equipa do safari dos anos 80!

Novelty: well, here's an out-of-the-box set, very well done! I was surprised by how well the balloon pieces fit together. A very clever idea, in my opinion! The idea of including the ring so it could be hung up is also excellent!
Content:The girl is very pretty, although i don't quite grasp the idea of the animals... a tiger??? It doesn't seem to make much sense at first glance, but since the balloon is absolutely gorgeous, it's all forgivable.
Expectation/Reality: The balloon and its accessories (ladder, anchor, weight bags, etc.) are super cool and made me super happy. As for the animals... I would have preferred other characters, but it's okay... I'm already imagining a story with the safari team from the 80s!
