A palmeira | The palm tree
This palm tree have seen these two babies grow up. As babies, they slept the best naps by it's shadow and ate some hand fulls of sand. Under it's leaves, they stood up for the first time, gave their first steps leanning on each other and their first words mixed up with the noise of the leaves moving with the desert breeze.
First teenager talks and dreams were shared, while sitting agains it's trunk. Right there they criyed, laughed and get angry at each other again and again. Soon they were friends again. Inseperable since little kids, adult best friends.
Under this palm tree they feel at home, safe, and while they are here, no one upst them. Theis children, husbands, mothers and fathers, all know that the palm tree is their refuge, and that time his their, and their only.
