Sou Karim, o guardião da passagem para o reino das sereias. A minha missão é impedir que criaturas sem guelras e que têm a mania que são os únicos seres inteligentes deste mundo, vulgo humanos, entrem no nosso reino. Sim, isso já aconteceu no passado, com resultados catastróficos, pelo que desde há muito que, eu e outros como eu, guardamos esta passagem, evitando que, quer por pura sorte, bisbilhotice a mais ou intrépido espírito de explorador, alguma dessas criaturas descubra onde moramos e como vivemos.

I am Karim, the guardian of the passage to the mermaid’s kingdom. My mission is to prevent that creatures without gills and that think they are the only being with brains in this world, aka, humans, enter our borders. Yes, that already hapenned in the past with cathastrophic results, so since then, me, and others like me, keep an eye on it so that by pure chance, too much curiosity or some intrepit explorer spirit some human finds out where we live and how we live.
