Pertencente ao faraó Amenófis. há anos que o Professor Smith procurava esta pirâmide. Poucos acreditaram que houvesse uma pirâmide tão próximo do rio, mas o Professor Smith há muito que apostava que a paixão de Amenófis pelo rio o faria querer que a sua última morada terrena fosse junto dele.
A Clara, filha do Professor Smith, aprendeu a ler hieróglifos ao mesmo tempo que aprendia inglês e cresceu entre papiros, livros de história e inúmeras viagens ao Egipto. Foi a sua fé inabalável no pai que deu alento ao Professor Smith para não desistir, mesmo quando na universidade já ninguém acreditava neste projecto. Clara conhecia cada pista e cada indício que faziam o pai acreditar na existência desta pirâmide. E tinha sido ela a encontrar uma alusão a esta possível localização, num pedaço de papiro “esquecido” entre os pertences atribuídos a este faraó, depois de meses e meses em que a investigação alcançara um impasse que parecia impossível de ultrapassar. Fora esse o derradeiro argumento que fizera com que tivessem conseguido o financiamento necessário para mais esta expedição.
E hoje, depois de muitas prospecções feitas no local e depois de semanas de escavações, a pirâmide de Amenófis está hoje totalmente a descoberto!
A última grande descoberta deste século foi concretizada! Que segredos esconderá a pirâmide? Que artefactos serão encontrados? Que histórias serão agora finalmente contadas?

Professor Smith searched for this pyramid belonging to the faraoh Amenófis, for years now. Professor knew all about the pharaoh passion for the river, and he bet all his career that the pharaoh would built his tumb here, by the river.
Claire, Professor’s daughter, learned to reed hieroglifes at the same time she learned english and grew between papyrus, history books and countless visits to Egypt. It was her faith in her father’s job that gave him the strength to carry on, even when no one in the university believed the project anymore. Claire knew every lead and every evidence that made her dad believe in the pyramid. And it was her that found an alusion to this location, in a old forgotten piece of papyrus that was in the pharaoh’s belongings. This was the argument that got them the financing needed for this expedition.
And today, after many prospections on the site and after weeks of escavations, Amenófis pyramid in now completly undercovered.
