Hugo, o dentista | Hugh, the dentist

Sabem aquelas pessoas que sabem desde cedo o que querem ser? Pois, o Hugo é dessas pessoas. Aborrecia de morte os seus colegas do secundário, a falar de onde ia tirar o curso e como é que ia ser o seu consultório. As miúdas evitavam estar ao pé dele, com medo que ele começasse a descrever algum procedimento inovador de fazer implantes. Porém, o entusiasmo do Hugo era inabalável: ria-se perante o desprezo que as raparigas lhe davam e tinha a certeza que os rapazes o invejavam por ele saber já o que ia ser e fazer na vida.

Foi obviamente um aluno dedicado e muito esforçado. Não perdeu o foco, sempre aplicado, por isso, ainda antes de terminar o curso, já era assistente das cadeiras dos primeiros anos e desenvolvia investigação, que sonhava um dia conseguir publicar.

Mas assim que começou a exercer em consultório, descobriu ser essa a sua verdadeira vocação: não saber que problema teria que resolver em cada consulta e decidir no momento, o tratamento mais adequado. Especializou-se em casos difícieis e é hoje um profissional de excelência. 

Do you know those people that know since always what they want to be and what they want to do? Well, Hugh is one of them. He used to borred to death his high school mates, speaking about the university where he was going to study and how it gonna be his clinic. The girls stayed away, as they feared that he would start describing some new fabulous procedure of dental implants.However his enthusiasm was unshakable: he laughed of the girls contempt, and was pretty sure of himself that the guys had nothing but envy.

He was obviously a dedicate and hardworking student. He stayed focused, trough out the course and nobody was surprised when he was an assistant teacher when he hadn´t even finished his degree. Also, by that time he was developing some investigation, with wich he dreamed of about publishing.

But as soon as he step is foot in a clinic, he knew he had found his true calling: not knowing wich problem he had to take care of in each consult, and have to figure out the best treatment to apply right there. He specialized in tough cases and today is an excellence professional.
