O meu irmão gémeo | My twin brother
I found this picture in the middle of a book that i took to read from my granny's house. I wasn´t able to recognize myself, not even the boy next to me, despite granny firmly said it was so. I doubted her and her 95 years old, so i went to find thay out.
Twin, my twin brother!! Unfortunetly tragically deceased that day in the bay, when everybody trusted that someone was taking a look in us. They say that problably i saw what happened, as they found me staring at the water like a statue. They say that i didn't spoke for three days, and that when i did it, not only i never spoke about what had happened, neither i never spoke about my brother again.
In those days, psicologic support didn't existed and everybody dealed with their problems their own way. So, the all family adopted my kind of way of dealing with it, shutting up his existence. From my brother only survived a box full of photographs, some clothes and a couple of toys, that my mother sord of hided in my granny's house. I have the box with me now. I´m gonna take it and give a big big hug to my mother.
