Querido avô,
Ensinaste-me tudo o que sei e foste um exemplo fantástico para mim. Sempre te admirei e tornaste-me uma melhor pessoa. Tenho tanto agradecer-te que não sei como irei ser capaz de continuar sem que me digas adeus do cais, como já acontecia nos teus últimos dias de vida. Tínhamos de facto uma ligação especial e nunca te esquecerei.
Aqui estou eu a cumprir o teu desejo final e peço-te que olhes por mim, daí das profundezas do mar que tanto amas.

Dear grandfather,
You taught me everything i know and you were the best example i could wish for. I always admired you and you turned me into a bether person. I have to many things to thank you for and i don't know how i can keep up without you here, even waiving goodbye from the peer, as you did in the last days of your life. We had indeed a very special bound and i will never forget you.
So, here i am fulfilling your last wish and asking you to watch over me from down there, the deepest seas that you love so much.
