Time out #11: Quake
O Quake – Centro do Terramoto de Lisboa é uma experiência muito muito gira. A má notícia, para despacharmos já essa questão, é o preço. É realmente caro, não há outra palavra para descrever.
Agora as boas notícias: na nossa opinião, vale o preço. A exposição é grande, está bem conseguida, super interactiva e muito educativa. Chamam-lhe agora imersiva.
Os cenários estão muitos giros e bem conseguidos. Muito realistas. Atenção que é fácil colarmo-nos ao videofones e esquecer o resto, mas recomendo que leiam os testemunhos das silhuetas que encontrarem e a curiosidade que existe em cada um dos painéis com as descrições. Na última sala, não podem deixar de fazer os questionários que estão nos ipads. Têm imensa informação, mas é fácil passarem despercebidos. Do grupo que ia connosco, apenas nós os fizemos.
Gostei sobretudo do facto de a exposição não se focar apenas e só no que é um sismo e como tudo aconteceu em Lisboa, mas sobretudo no que aconteceu depois, como se reconstruiu a cidade, que medidas foram tomadas e o quanto se estudou o acontecimento. Muito bom, sem dúvida!
The Quake – Lisbon Earthquake Center is a very very good experience. The bad news is the price. It is really expensive, there´s no other way to say it.
Now, the good news: it worths it. The exhibit is big, it is amazing, super interactive and very educational. They now call it immersive.
The scenaries are realistc and very well accomplished. Be aware: it’s very easy to grab the videophones and forget about the rest. Don’t do that and be shure to read the testimonials from the silhouettes and the curiosity that is in every pannel with the descriptions. In the last room, make shure to do the quizes in the ipad’s. They have lots of information, but is easy to pass by without noticing them. In our group, we were the only ones who did them.
I mostly liked the fact that the exhibit shows how it was to rebuilt the city, and what had to be done to do so and how much this event was studied. Very good indeed!
