Time out #12: Mafra
Aproveitámos as férias da Páscoa da herdeira, para visitar o Palácio Nacional de Mafra. O palácio é gigantesco e tem um espólio bem interessante. Gostámos muito da enfermaria, da biblioteca e da cozinha.
Já que estávamos ali perto, aproveitámos para ir fazer o trilho vermelho na Tapada Nacional, a zona de caça da família real, quando estava alojada em Mafra. O espaço é giro e podemos ver os gamos, veados e javalis em alguns cercados, onde a alimentação deles é reforçada em termos nutricionais. Mais o mais giro é encontrá-los ao longo do trilho, na sua vida na natureza. Tivemos essa sorte, por isso viemos todos contentes.
We took heiress Easter break from school, to visit the National Palace of Mafra. The palace is simply huge and as a very nice assets. We loved the most the infirmary, the library and the kitchen.
Nearby, it's the National Hunting Grounds of Mafra, where we took the red footpath. This was the place were the royal falily came to hunt, when they were housed at Mafra. It's a beatiful place, where we can see deers and boars in some fences, where it's diet is reinforce with some nutrients. But the best part is to try to find them in the wild, along the path. We had that luck, so we end up the day happy.
