Time out #8: Coimbra
Agora que a herdeira já está mais crescida e que já nos acompanha em aventuras mais desafiantes, decidimos fazer uma espécie de roadtrip na nossa primeira semana de férias.
Now that heiress is more grown up, she is ready to go on some more challenging adventures, and we decided to go on a small roadtrip in our first weef of vacations.
Começamos por Coimbra e pelo Portugal dos Pequenitos, com as suas encantadoras miniaturas das casas tradicionais portuguesas. A herdeira demorou um pouco a apreciar o parque. Acho que estava à espera de algo mais interactivo, e foi pela simplicidade que lá a levei, mas lá acabou por entrar no espírito.
We started in Coimbra and visited Portugal dos Pequenitos, the first theme park in our country. It as miniatures from almost all kinds of houses there are in our country. Heiress took a while to embrace the spirit. I guess she expected something more interactive, but it was because of it's simplicity that i took her there.
A casinha que ela mais gostou, foi a tradicional casinha da serra (não é a da foto), singela, com as suas ferramentas e espaço para os animais.
The house she loved the more, was the simple one: the house from the mountains, with it's tools and space for animals (it's not the one in the photo, unfortunately).
Seguimos para o Exploratório - Ciência Viva Coimbra, onde infelizmente, por falta de tempo, tanto ficou por explorar!! A herdeira ficou rendida à oficina das construções. Um espaço muito bem conseguido, muito interactivo e com tanta coisa para aprender!
Next, we went to Exploratório, a science museum, where so much was left to explore!! Heiress loved the most, the construction workshop. It is a very nice place, so interactive and with so much to do and to learn!
