Não foi difícil escolher um local para visitar no final do ano lectivo, pois já estava escolhido desde o início: o jardim zoológico!
A turma trabalhou o ano inteiro o tema dos animais e dos seus habitats. Pesquisaram sobre os animais mais estranhos do planeta e aqueles que viviam em condições mais extremas. Fizeram uma exposição na escola sobre os animais em vias de extinção e realizaram trabalhos manuais que venderam a pais e amigos. Com o dinheiro conseguido, apadrinharam um animal. Decidiram ser padrinhos dos leões e até conseguiram reabilitar o seu espaço: os leões têm agora um recinto mais natural, onde se sentem bem melhor.
O ano não podia ter acabado da melhor forma!
It wasn't hard to choose a place to go in the end of the school year, cause it was chosen from the begining: the zoo!
The class worked all year round, the animal theme. They learned about them and their habitats. They searched for the strangest animal in the planet and for those who lived under the most extreme conditions. They prepared an exhibition in their school, about endangered species and even did some art work that was sold to family and friends. With the money they got, they sponsored the lions and rehabilitated their enclosure, getting them a much natural envirnoment, where the animals feel so much better.
The school year couldn't have ended in a better way!
